I look great today!

I look great today! I guess that it is because everybody around me is either vampires, clowns or witches. It is Halloween at work and I am showing off my new hair, no costume for me. It went very well last night at the hair salon. Everybody was really nice and I like what she did with my hair, I will have to wait and see what I can do with it later. That is the real test! She cut about 2 inches of the end, I am so surprised that there are still pretty long…she straighten them so I will only see the real length when I will leave them curly . The price was right, the ambiance, very friendly and I felt pretty sexy when I left… but nowhere to go. I wished I had somebody to go out with. Tonight, Nancy arrives but before that I have a Happy Hour at Ann’s (Mike’s sister). I don’t want to miss that, a girl’s get together, Youppi! I will bring some sushi, wine and my crochet project... I have to keep my hands busy My visitors should leave early on Sunday since they want to go trick or treating.

Today is the day, snip, snip

I am a little worried but today I am going to a new hairdresser. She was recommended by a coworker's wife who have a bite of the same kind of hair I have ( curlyish, wavyish). She said that she won't change hairdresser for as long as she live... Hopefully I will say the same after my appointment. It is about time for me to find somebody here. I can't believe I has been a year since I move here... I don't fell like it. It doesn't feel like home. I wore my new sunglasses this morning driving to work. I really like them all the colors look nicer. I think there is a hint of purple in the lenses. I had a weird dream last night but I know where it was from. Yesterday, I talked to one of my friend where I used to work, she told me that they are looking into replacing the analyst that left, that would be so awesome to go back to work there by itself but on top of it, they started a "knitting club" at lunch time. About 10 women are getting together at lunch to knit/crochet together. It sounds so great! I sent them my best link for free patterns. So my dream was that I was struggling between going back and the distance to travel everyday... I know that it is not possible for me to go back but... Anyway, as you can see I am not too motivated at work. I have to do something about it: update stuff and look around but I heard that there will be a change in management here in the next months and that I should wait. It is from a psychic, so I don't know how much is true but I should give it a chance anyway. We don't know when we will be moving the office yet, it keep on changing and they are really not good at giving updates. I am in the moving committee and I don't know anything, that gives you the picture.

A day in town $$$

It was an Expensive weekend, Mike and I had a day in town on Saturday. We went to the ski show... tchi-tching! a new pair of ski... mine were 10 years old, Mike had a point there. Book store, tchit-ching! I bought new glasses, one regular and one sunglasses... you guessed tchi-tching. I wished I had Michelle like last time. I picked my regular the same colour that the one we picked together but a little more rectangular (http://www.eye-glasses-now.com/framesfp/Miu_Miu-ldnane/nf.html) in the cherry/lavender. My sunglasses ar Ray-Ban (http://www.rakuten.co.jp/eye-mode/457870/477671/509361/). I wish I had a digital camera. Then Winter boots, I saw them as I was walking out of the optical place, tchi-tching!. The beer can chicken was not cook enough according to the carver.but the thermometer was saying it was... Nobody got sick so I guess it was fine. Not as tasty as I thought... tasted like chicken. I will have to try it again. The muscle testing we took only one day course, so it took the price down and it was enough but we have not practice yet and she was recommending once a week... Mike is working nights this weekend and anyway "Moushka's mom" is coming for a visit with the family ( boyfriend and 2 little ones). Not much practice there I am afraid.... will see. I have TaiChi tonight... so many moves to remember! I am a little behind, and Mike is a lot behind but he does not want my help... His lost. The doc's clinic call me for my Derm's appointment... I can't believe it, my appointment is for March 2005! I hope I won't have any pimple then.
